Directors

David Blackledge, Chairman and Director of European Affairs and one of the founders of TTR, is a transport economist with over 30 years experience in transport planning and economics in both public and private sectors. He is known for his ability at managing, and has directed and managed many UK and European projects covering a broad range of topics.

Kieran Holmes, Executive Director has more than 25 years experience in the transport industry including corporate and strategic planning work. He is a specialist in IT systems in transport and has a strong background in project management and business needs analysis.

Alan Lewis, Director has been with TTR for over 12 years and is responsible for developing TTR's work related to Energy, Environment and sustainable transport.

Chris Douglas, Director is a freight specialist with over 14 years' experience in operational, advisory and consultancy roles, in his previous position he was Programme Manager of Freight Best Practice, on behalf of the Department for Transport. His particular project interests include local HGV overnight parking studies, Freight Quality Partnerships (FQPs) and fuel management programmes for operators.

Tom Parker, Senior Associate has over 12 years consultancy experience with the focus of much of his work being in the development and evaluation of policies or technologies aimed at influencing travel behaviour and promoting more sustainable modes.

Sarah Clifford, Associate has 12 years of experience working in the field of sustainable transport and travel planning, starting with the development of one of the first Travel Plans in the UK in 1997. She also has extensive project management experience, including management of a number of European transport research projects.

Mark Fell, Associate has worked in the Passenger Transport Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) field for 10 years specialising in public transport data and information delivery. Mark has extensive experience of project managing and implementing ITS schemes.
