Travel Planning Solutions

TTR has extensive experience of researching and implementing planning-led and voluntary Travel Plans for a range of private and public sector organisations.

Retail - Since 2002 our high quality Travel Plans have been helping clients to save costs, meet CSR objectives and maximise their competitive edge by ensuring a smooth transition through the planning process. We also provide ongoing Travel Plan implementation and monitoring support to Coordinators.

Education - TTR has expertise in developing effective Travel Plans for schools, Universities and colleges of Further Education. We can also conduct research into the factors affecting young people's decisions to enter Further Education.

Health - TTR Travel Plans can help NHS Trusts and hospitals to reduce CO 2 as part of the NHS Carbon Reduction Strategy, and meet other important NHS targets and standards.

Research & Evaluation Suport

TTR has expertise in assessing the impact of Personalised Travel Planning (PTP) interventions using detailed travel diary surveys. TTR has also led extensive household travel surveys to identify travel patterns and awareness of transport schemes and policies.

Travel Awareness Campaigns and Travel Behaviour - Our specialist team can carry out social and market research to identify what motivates people to make certain transport choices and to improve travel awareness campaigns accordingly. We also led a European travel awareness project and developed guidelines for application in the UK.

Sustainable Freight Solutions

TTR's multidisciplinary team works across a number of different sectors. Working closely with TTR freight specialists, we have developed some of the first Travel Plans for freight which are called Delivery & Servicing Plans (DSPs) and lead a project to share DSP best practice across Europe.
